Days of the Week Song
First and Second graders have been practicing the days of the week as they acclimate themselves to the routine of doing the calendar each day at the beginning of Spanish class. To help them to remember the days of the week in Spanish, we listen to the first few minutes of this song and sing along. As the year progresses, we will listen to the rest of the song that has the months of the year and the seasons. The song is very catchy and the students really love it. If you want to help them practice at home, you can always play this song for them!
"BUENOS DÍAS A TI"
As students study the various ways of saying "hello" and "goodbye" they listen to this song at all grade levels to help remember how to say "good morning", "good afternoon", and "goodnight" in Spanish. I have posted the words to the song below for students to follow along with as they listen. This will help them get acclimated with and reinforce spelling and the sounds of the letters in the Spanish alphabet.
The video is not the best quality, so I would encourage students to follow along with the words below.
